BIO:

From the artist, " From an early age, I was enamored losing myself in the creation of art.  I always had pencils with me.  It was my realm of the great escape from a childhood as a preacher's kid, and my answer to all the questions I wasn’t allowed to ask.  Since my youth, I have pursued fine art of my own volition.  I knew I was going to become an artist when I grew up. For decades I continued to create my great escape, continually searching for that divine feeling of a supernatural question coming closer into view.  As life went on, my work suffered from the everyday stress of this reality we live in.  I began creating less and less.  It wasn’t until my fifth year working as a Correctional Officer in East Texas, a maximum-security prison that I finally put everything I have into my work as an Artist.  The turning point for me happened one fateful Christmas Eve night over ten years ago.  I awoke from a night terror of an entity covered in mud and moss.  A feminine form of plant and earth. Leafy vines ran through her like a circulatory system.  As I sat up hyperventilating, I scanned the darkroom thinking to myself it was just a bad dream.  That's when a hand touched my shoulder from behind.  I slowly turned to catch a glimpse and saw the dark muddy hand once again. As I turned fully around, the creature vanished in a spark of embers.  Since then I have dedicated my body of work and my life to the divine feminine in my most treasured of mediums, watercolors.  I have not a night terror since.  My art is my Mother, my Father, my madness, and still…  my great escape."
